Start with pre-built rules for the most common automations — edit and activate in seconds.

Using a Template

Instead of building a rule from scratch, you can start from a template:

  1. Go to Business Rules in your store's sidebar
  2. Click New Rule
  3. Switch to the Templates tab
  4. Browse the available templates
  5. Click Use this template on the one you want
  6. Review and adjust the settings
  7. Click Save and toggle it on

Available Templates

Welcome New Customers

What it does: Sends a welcome email to every new customer who creates an account.

Customise the email text to reflect your brand's voice. You can also add a discount code to incentivise the first purchase.


First Purchase Thank You

What it does: Sends a personal thank-you email when a customer completes their very first order.

Recognising first-time buyers makes them feel valued and increases the chance they'll return.


VIP Customer Tag

What it does: Automatically tags any customer who spends over $100 in a single order as "VIP".

Once tagged, you can target VIP customers with exclusive campaigns in email marketing.


Abandoned Cart Alert

What it does: Notifies your admin email when a customer abandons a cart — so you can follow up manually or check for patterns.

Pair this with an abandoned cart automation for a fully automated recovery flow.


Refund Notification

What it does: Sends an internal alert to your team whenever a refund is processed, including the order reference.

Useful for keeping your team informed without having to check the dashboard constantly.


High-Value Order Alert

What it does: Notifies your admin when an order over $200 is placed.

Great for prioritising fulfilment of large orders or adding a personal touch to big customers.


New Customer to Email List

What it does: Automatically adds every new customer to your "All Customers" email segment the moment they sign up.

This ensures your email list stays up to date without manual imports.


Order Fulfilled — Thank You

What it does: Sends a thank-you message when an order is marked as shipped, letting the customer know their order is on its way.

You can include a discount code for their next order to encourage repeat purchases.

Tip

Templates are just starting points. After selecting one, you can change the trigger, adjust the conditions, edit the email content, or add extra actions to suit your store.
