Managing Products

Add, edit, and organize products in your store catalog.

Overview

Products are the core of your store. LaunchStore supports physical products, digital products, and service-based offerings.

Adding a Product

  1. Navigate to Products in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Product
  3. Fill in the product details

Basic Information

  • Title — Product name displayed to customers
  • Description — Rich text description with formatting, images, and links
  • Product type — Physical, digital, or service
  • Vendor — Brand or manufacturer name
  • Tags — Keywords for organization and search

Media

Upload product images and videos:

  • Drag and drop multiple images at once
  • Reorder images by dragging (first image is the primary)
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF
  • Recommended size: 1024×1024px or larger

Pricing

  • Price — Regular selling price
  • Compare at price — Original price (shows as strikethrough)
  • Cost per item — Your cost (used for profit calculations, not shown to customers)

Inventory

  • SKU — Stock Keeping Unit identifier
  • Barcode — UPC, EAN, or ISBN
  • Track inventory — Enable to monitor stock levels
  • Quantity — Current stock count

Variants

Products can have multiple variants (e.g., size, color):

  1. Click Add Options (e.g., Size, Color)
  2. Enter option values (Small, Medium, Large)
  3. Variant combinations are generated automatically
  4. Set individual pricing and inventory per variant
Tip

You can have up to 100 variants per product. Each variant can have its own price, SKU, and inventory level.

Publishing a Product

Toggle the Published switch to make a product visible on your storefront. Draft products are only visible to you.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple products to:

  • Publish or unpublish
  • Add to a collection
  • Update pricing
  • Delete
