Displaying Reviews

Show approved customer reviews on your product pages using the LaunchStore Visual Page Builder.

Overview

Product reviews are displayed using two Puck components in the Visual Page Builder:

• Product Rating — shows the star rating summary (average score + review count)
• Product Reviews — shows the full list of approved reviews with customer names

Both components automatically fetch review data for the product page they appear on.

Adding Reviews to Your Product Template

1. Go to your dashboard and open Visual Page Builder
2. In the left sidebar, select PRODUCT_PAGE template
3. Drag the Product Rating component to where you want the star summary (typically near the product title or price)
4. Drag the Product Reviews component to the lower section of the page (below the product description)
5. Save the template

All product pages will now show reviews.

Product Rating Component

The Product Rating block displays:

• Average star score (e.g. 4.3)
• Total number of reviews (e.g. "24 reviews")
• Visual star row

If a product has no approved reviews, this component displays nothing.

Product Reviews Component

The Product Reviews block displays:

• Overall rating summary at the top
• Individual review cards with:
  • Customer display name
  • Star rating
  • Review title and body
  • Date submitted
  • Merchant reply (if you added one)

Reviews are shown newest first. Only Approved reviews are visible to the customer.

Customising Appearance

The review components inherit your store's Tailwind theme. If you have customised your store's colour palette, the reviews will match automatically.
