Managing Reviews

Moderate incoming reviews from the Reviews dashboard before they appear on your storefront.

Opening the Reviews Dashboard

  1. Go to your LaunchStore dashboard
  2. Click Store in the top navigation
  3. Select Reviews from the Quick Actions section

Review Statuses

StatusMeaning
PendingSubmitted by customer, awaiting your review
ApprovedVisible on your product page
RejectedHidden, not shown to customers

All new reviews arrive with Pending status.

Approving a Review

  1. Open the review from the Pending list
  2. Read the rating and comment
  3. Click Approve — the review immediately appears on the product page

Rejecting a Review

Click Reject to hide a review. You might reject reviews that are:

  • Spam or gibberish
  • About the wrong product
  • Violate your community guidelines
Note

Rejecting a review does not delete it. You can still see it in your dashboard and reverse the decision later.

Replying to Reviews

You can add a merchant reply to any approved or pending review:

  1. Open the review
  2. Click Reply
  3. Type your response
  4. Click Save Reply

Your reply is displayed below the customer review on the product page, labelled as a response from the store owner. This shows customers you are engaged and responsive.

Filtering Reviews

Use the filter bar to see reviews by:

  • Status — Pending, Approved, Rejected
  • Rating — 1–5 stars
  • Product — filter by a specific product

Review Metrics

The top of the Reviews dashboard shows:

  • Total reviews collected
  • Average star rating across all products
  • Number of pending reviews requiring action
