Instagram Shopping

Tag products in your Instagram posts and stories to drive sales.

Overview

Instagram Shopping allows you to tag products directly in posts, stories, and Reels. Customers tap on products to see details and purchase.

Requirements

  • Connected Facebook Business Page
  • Product catalog synced to Facebook
  • Instagram Business or Creator account
  • Approval from Instagram (automatic review)

Setup

  1. Navigate to Marketing → Social Commerce → Instagram
  2. Connect your Instagram Business account
  3. Your product catalog (shared with Facebook) is automatically available
  4. Enable product tagging in your Instagram settings

Tagging Products

In Posts

When creating an Instagram post:

  1. Upload your image
  2. Tap Tag Products
  3. Select products from your catalog
  4. Position tags on the image
  5. Publish

In Stories

Add product stickers to your Instagram Stories:

  1. Create a story
  2. Add the Product sticker
  3. Search and select a product
  4. Customize sticker appearance

In Reels

Tag products in your Reels before publishing. Products appear as a shopping bag icon that viewers can tap.

Instagram Shop Tab

Your Instagram profile gets a dedicated Shop tab where followers can browse your entire product catalog.

Performance Tracking

Track Instagram Shopping metrics in your LaunchStore dashboard:

  • Product views from Instagram
  • Clicks to your store
  • Orders from Instagram traffic
  • Revenue attribution

Instagram Shopping approval can take 1-7 days. Ensure your products and account comply with Instagram commerce policies.
