Wishlist
Let customers save products they love and come back to buy later.
What is the Wishlist?
The wishlist lets logged-in customers save products to a personal list while they browse your store. They can revisit their wishlist at any time from their account page and easily add saved items to their cart.
Benefits for your store:
- Reduces friction — customers don't have to hunt for products they liked
- Signals demand — popular wishlisted products tell you what customers want
- Drives return visits — customers come back to complete the purchase
- Shareable — customers can share their wishlist with friends and family (great for gift season)
How Customers Use the Wishlist
Saving a product
Customers see a heart icon (♥) on product cards and product pages. Clicking it adds the item to their wishlist. They need to be logged in — if they're not, they'll be prompted to sign in.
Viewing saved items
Customers go to My Account → Wishlist to see all their saved products. From there they can:
- Click any item to go back to the product page
- Add individual items directly to their cart
- Remove items they no longer want
Sharing a wishlist
Customers can generate a shareable link from their wishlist page. Anyone with the link can view the wishlist — great for birthday or gift ideas. The link doesn't require the viewer to log in.
Enabling the Wishlist on Your Store
The wishlist button is added to your store through the Page Builder:
On product cards (in collections and search results):
- Go to Page Builder and open your collection or search results template
- Find the Product Card component
- In the settings panel, enable Show Wishlist Button
- Save and publish
On product pages:
- Open your Product Page template in the Page Builder
- Find the Add to Cart section
- Drag the Wishlist Button component next to the add-to-cart button
- Save and publish
What the Wishlist Looks Like
The wishlist button appears as a small heart icon. When a product is saved, the heart fills in so customers can see at a glance what they've already saved. Clicking the filled heart removes the item from the wishlist.
