Ad Set Breakdown
See Facebook campaign performance at the ad set level — not just account totals.
Overview
The Facebook Ads analytics tab in LaunchStore groups your campaigns by ad set, giving you a more granular view of spend and returns. Instead of seeing one row per campaign, you see collapsible rows per ad set with the campaigns nested inside.
Viewing Ad Set Analytics
- Go to Marketing → Facebook Ads
- Click the Analytics tab
- Switch to the Ad Sets sub-tab
Each row shows:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Ad Set Name | The ad set identifier from Meta |
| Spend | Total spend attributed to this ad set |
| Revenue | Attributed revenue (last-click, 7-day window) |
| ROAS | Return on Ad Spend (Revenue ÷ Spend) |
| Orders | Number of attributed orders |
| CTR | Click-through rate |
Click the › arrow on any ad set row to expand and see the individual campaigns inside it.
Why Ad Sets Matter
Facebook campaigns are structured as:
Campaign
└── Ad Set (budget, audience, placement)
└── Ad (creative)
The ad set level is where you define:
- Audience — who sees your ads
- Budget — how much you spend
- Placement — Facebook feed, Instagram, Reels, etc.
- Bidding strategy — cost per click, cost per conversion, etc.
Comparing ROAS at the ad set level tells you which audience + placement combinations are profitable — information that campaign-level totals hide.
